WHO CAN RIDE THIS BIKE?

All riders age 18 and older with a valid credit or debit card can become bikeshare participants.

 

WHERE CAN I GO?

Ride your bikeshare rental wherever you like in the Town Center and Cumberland areas. See the station map in the app for details on locations.

 

WHERE ARE STATIONS LOCATED?

See the station map in the app for details on locations. Town Center Bikeshare stations are located at Cobb County parks and trail facilities as well as at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. Cobb County and the National Park system each have visitor rules and hours of operation. Please visit www.cobbcounty.org/parks and www.nps.gov/kemo for all applicable rules and hours of operation. 

 

MAY I PAUSE MY RIDE?

Sure! If you make a stop, lock the bike to a secure object like a public rack and select “Lock” on the app. Never lock the bike to itself. See “HOW TO” in the app for more details.

 

HOW DO I END THE RIDE?

Your ride ends when you return to any Town Center or Cumberland station and lock your bike. After locking, select "End Rental" in the app. Riders may be held responsible for replacement of lost bikes, so be sure bikes are locked at stops and properly returned to a station when you complete your ride.

 

CAN I KEEP THE BIKE?

Nope! Please return bikes to a designated Town Center or Cumberland station. We're glad you love our bikes, but this not a bike keep program. It's a bikeSHARE. Please return bikes where everyone can access them.

 

ISSUES WITH THE BIKE?

Return the bike to the nearest Town Center or Cumberland station. Lock the bike and end your trip. Then contact us in the app, at support@tandem-mobility.com, or at 313-217-9220 to let us know what's happening. We'll get the bike fixed up. In the meantime, you're welcome to start a ride on a new bike and continue on your way.

 

LOCK NOT OPENING?

First, make sure there are no spokes making contact with the ring lock. If the spokes are clear, wait 30 seconds and try to lock again.

 

LOCK NOT CLOSING?

First, make sure there are no spokes in the way. Sometimes a spoke will block the ring lock from closing. If you have pressed “LOCK” on the app, you should hear a mechanical noise from the ring lock itself. This means the ring lock is ready to use. If you don’t hear a noise, there is a good chance the lock is already armed, and you can simply press down the orange tab to lock the ring. Once the ring lock has been engaged and locked, make sure to plug the docking cable into the port on the top of the ring lock. If you cannot secure your bike, please contact us in the app, at support@tandem-mobility.com, or at 313-217-9220 right away so we can make sure to secure the bike ASAP!

 

THE BIKE RACK IS FULL, HOW DO I END MY RIDE?

If the station is full, lock the bike securely nearby without blocking pedestrian or vehicle traffic. End your trip on the app, then reach out for support in our app, at  support@tandem-mobility.com or at 313-217-9220. We'll take care of getting the bike back to a station.

 

CAN I LET SOMEONE ELSE USE THE BIKE?

Only registered Town Center and Cumberland bikeshare participants may check out the bikes. All riders must sign the Rider Agreement.

 

DO I NEED A HELMET?

We care about your safety and strongly recommend that you wear a helmet while riding.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF THERE'S AN ACCIDENT?

You should always operate the bike in a safe manner. For emergencies, dial 911 immediately. Please report any accidents to Tandem Mobility via the app, at support@tandem-mobility.com or at 313-217-9220.
